Information by Telephone

In addition to the public journey planner in the internet we also offer layouts specially made for a call center. These interfaces differ from the conventional journey planner in that they enable a quicker and advanced input method. More attention is paid to functionality than to design (see interface to the right).

One example of the advanced input method is the one field search. This feature aids the search for any type of location, be it a public transport stop, an address, a POI etc. . The input follow simple syntax, e.g. locality, street, house number.

Example from Karlsruhe (KVV): input 'ka, hbf' to search for 'Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof'.
The input results in both 'Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof' and a 'POI' that matches phonetically (see right: one field search).

A planned journey can be accessed and controlled with the number keys, whereby the number 1 represents the first journey displayed on the screen.
