The EMS homepage enables you to monitor traffic incidents in your area. The dashboard shows current and upcoming incidents and current disruptions, both as a list and as locations on a map.
You can record new route disruptions conveniently with the appropriate template. Just select the cause, effect, and affected route. If necessary, stops can be removed from the route and suitable substitute measures, such as replacement bus and taxi services, inserted.
When creating a disruption or event, use the “Channels” tab to specify how and where incident notifications are to be communicated. Channels have been pre-set, depending on scenario. You can overwrite these settings, however.
As soon as the output channels receive disruption or incident notifications, they generally send feedback. In the “Actions” tab, you can view these feedback messages and see which indicators have already been updated.
As an alternative to the list view, an interactive network map is available to you. Use tabs to choose between individual networks according to means of transport (commuter railway, subway, tram, etc.) and the entire route network. Assets affected by unusual incidents can be assessed more quickly with respect to their spatial context.
