MENTZ is looking for Ukrainian IT-specialists
Like many others, we care about the fate of the people in Ukraine. The broader business community has already pitched in to help out: Deutsche Telekom has made all connections to and from Ukraine free of charge. Ukrainians are permitted to travel on Deutsche Bahn trains without a ticket, and Flixbus has offered free transport.
In cooperation with supporters, businessman Marcus Diekmann set up a job exchange portal called jobaidukraine.com. “It is also a question of human dignity that Ukrainian refugees can find a job here as quickly as possible,” Diekmann told Handelsblatt news.
Digital companies find jobs for Ukrainians
Job Aid Ukraine helps find jobs for the “Händler helfen Händlern” initiative, a trade organization of 4,700 companies. There are also many jobs for refugees in agriculture, and in the tech and care sectors. “This is not charity,” Diekmann clarified when speaking to the Handelsblatt. “Companies are happy to employ new workers.”
We can only second that thought!
